Why TweetSheet?
Twitter is a great tool for determining what's happening now, but the data inside Twitter is even more fascinating. It's record of what's happened in the past, blissfully untouched by the destructive hand of hindsight. This data can speak not just to who we are, but also to who we were. Did you tweet when you met your girlfriend for the first time? When Obama got elected? Did you tweet when you landed that first great job, and again when you left it broken and embittered? That data is in there! TweetSheet is about helping you look back and gain insight from where you've been.
It's also good at: settling bar bets; finding restaurants you've forgotten about; recalling shiny blog posts; locating #overheard hilarity; and generally reconnecting all those broken links in your head.
Can you download my whole history?
TweetSheet can download your history up to 3,200 tweets, which is as far back as Twitter allows. If you're below that threshold, TweetSheet will download your whole history — and since your history updates every time you open the app, TweetSheet can keep backing up your history indefinitely. If you're past the 3,200 mark already, we'll take you back as far as we can. This is a limitation on Twitter's part, and they have promised a fix.
